We’re Watching the Net so you don’t have to

Hundreds of new Internet sites with inappropriate content are brought online weekly. The Comsift staff constantly monitors for these new sites and adds them to our Blacklist daily. Depending on the Download Plan purchased, the ComSifter updates the list on either a daily or weekly basis, ensuring that these sites are added to the filtering system.

How it works

We constantly monitor the Internet for addresses that are not on our Blacklist. Even though ComSifter will catch 98% of these sites with CSphrase Filtering Technology, we strive to catch the remaining 2%.

After a site is reviewed and deemed inappropriate it is added to our Blacklist.

Our Blacklist is then updated before midnight daily. Each ComSifter connects to the Internet after midnight and downloads the new list.

When you, your students, staff and employees arrive in the morning everyone is protected from the latest blacklisted sites.
