Notes:
1. Recommended Max number of computers depends on many factors. These
factors include:

Concurrently connected users/computers. There is no inherent limit on
the number of users/computers that may connect through the ComSifter.
The limitation is determined by the amount of traffic per second
generated by each user and the ability of the ComSifter to supply that
traffic. The raw engine of the ComSifter (minimal firewall rules, no
latency on the Internet connection) is capable of approx. 500
connections per second.

Typical use of the network, i.e. general browsing such as what is
typically done at schools libraries and small business vs. a research
dept where each user might be generating large volumes of Internet
traffic.

Speed of the Internet traffic. If the Internet connection is not sized
appropriately for the network then the number of concurrent
users/computers will be greatly reduced.

Authentication method. The method of authenticating and authorizing the
user/computer can affect the number of concurrently connected
users/computers. A network with no authentication or IP authentication
will allow more traffic compared with a network using Basic, Ident or
NTLM authentication.
